The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an Air
Quality Advisory for PM2.5 which will remain in effect until
midnight tonight. This advisory affects people living in the
following counties: Adams, Buffalo, Chippewa, Clark, Columbia,
Crawford, Dane, Dunn, Eau Claire, Grant, Green Lake, Iowa,
Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon,
Marquette, Menominee, Monroe, Outagamie, Pepin, Pierce, Portage,
Richland, Saint Croix, Sauk, Shawano, Taylor, Trempealeau,
Vernon, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago, Wood.
Due to Canadian wildfire smoke, the air quality index is expected
to reach the UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS level. People with
heart or lung disease, older adults, and children should reduce
prolonged or heavy exertion.

Stoughton’s No. 1 doubles team cruised to a win to lead the Vikings during their 6-1 Badger Small dual loss to McFarland on Tuesday, April 30, at Stoughton High School.
In just his third game of the season, Stoughton’s Casey Quam homered to help the Vikings to an 11-1 nonconference victory over Brodhead/Juda on Monday, May 6, at Stoughton High School.
The Stoughton boys golf team had two of the top 10 golfers to help the Vikings take fourth place at the Spartan Invitational on Monday, May 6, at Blackhawk Country Club in Madison.
