Hundreds of people filled the Fireman’s Park beach on Wednesday, July 31, to celebrate summer at the annual Beach Bash. This year’s Beach Bash was preceded by a ribbon cutting for the park, which underwent $3 million in upgrades in the past year.
The event included inflatable slides in the lake, free hot dogs and chips, beach games and plenty of space to build sand castles near the water.
