Dane County Executive Joe Parisi announced on Monday, April 22 - Earth Day - that the county plans to develop a landfill into a solar energy site that could serve as a community solar site for county residents.

Budget season always seems to be right around the corner, and to keep in touch with residents on a variety of issues, the Dane County Board of Supervisors has scheduled a trio of community focus groups, set for next month.
