Verona senior Lilly Wepking and junior Nicole Repka ran to titles in the Ripon College Showcase on Saturday, March 23, at Ripon College.
Wepking won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.78 seconds. Repka finished first in the 400 with a time of 59.7 seconds.
The Wildcats had two of the top three in the 800. Senior Lexi Remiker finished second in the 800 with a time of 2 minutes, 26.95 seconds. Junior Liz den Daas took third (2:27.70). In the pole vault, senior Josie O’Sheridan took second 8 feet, 6 inches).
Wepking added a sixth-place finish in the long jump (16-1.5) and the Wildcats’ 800 relay team placed sixth (1:55.45). Sophomore Emma Larson finished seventh in the 400 (1:02.86) and junior Sierra Posey placed seventh in the 60 hurdles (10.87).
