Monday, Nov. 16 was a day many students, teachers and parents alike were looking forward to — the first day back to school since March.

Earlier this month, the Stoughton School Board approved administrators’ recommendation to allow students in grades kindergarten through second grade to return, based on Public Health Madison and Dane County guidance. On Monday, staff and students returned to the district’s three elementary schools — Fox Prairie, Kegonsa and Sandhill.
