The new Verona Area High School building on the city’s west side continues to build up, with its cranes filling the skyline as its down-the-street neighbor Epic used to.

Construction crews began working on the site in April after a ceremonial groundbreaking, and have now constructed much of the main building and the shells of the performing arts center and fieldhouse on opposite ends of the school.

The school is expected to open in fall 2020. Biweekly updates on the construction, including photos from Findorff, can be found at verona.k12.wi.us.
