The library will become a hub for aficionados of Disney musicals on the afternoon of May 5.

From 2-3:30 p.m., Four Seasons Theatre will present a three-part program titled “The Wonderful World of Disney Musicals,” comprising a sea creature craft, a musical performance and a discussion on “The Little Mermaid.”

The crafting session starts at 2 p.m., where participants can make an underwater animal who might live alongside The Little Mermaid.

At 2:30 p.m., “Disney Out Loud,” a performance of Disney animated musicals, will feature music from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves” (1937) to “Frozen.” The songs will be performed by Four Seasons Theatre.

At 3 p.m., in the library’s community room, University of Wisconsin-Madison professor Scott Mellor will lead an adult-oriented discussion on the origins, meanings and adaptations of “The Little Mermaid.”
