Logan Ludlum went 2-for-4 and drove in four runs to lead Oregon to an 8-7 win over Belleville on Sunday, June 9, in a Home Talent League road game.
Belleville jumped out to a 5-0 lead with a two-run first and two-run third innings. The Orioles answered with four runs in the fifth and a four-run sixth to take an 8-5 lead.
Oregon’s Dominic Maurice went 2-for-5. The Orioles had nine hits.
Brandon Knobel pitched three innings and gave up four runs on six hits. He struck out three and walked four.
Adam Heath pitched 51/3 innings in relief to get the win. He gave up two runs on five hits. Heath struck out seven and walked four. The Orioles improve to 2-3 with the victory.
Oregon will play at Verona at 7 p.m. on Friday.
