Former NASCAR champion Matt Kenseth will return to Madison International Speedway on Friday, Aug. 16 to compete in the Howie Lettow Classic 100.

Kenseth, the 1994 champion at MIS, will compete for the $5,000 top prize against the top ARCA Midwest Tour Super Late Model drivers in the same #8 SUPERSEAL car, prepared by Pathfinder Chassis, that he drove to victory in the Slinger Nationals earlier in July.

This will mark the first appearance by Kenseth at his home track since winning a 100-lap contest in 2014, his 27th career feature win at the high banked paved oval.

A VIP meet and greet party will take place, allowing fans the opportunity to attend a Q&A session with the 2003 NASCAR Cup Series champion, get up to two items autographed and have a professional picture taken with Kenseth.

Spectator gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Practice begins at 4 p.m., with qualifying getting underway at 6:15 p.m. Preliminary events and features for the ARCA Midwest Tour, Midwest Trucks and Midwest Dash Series, will begin at 7:30 p.m.
