The Boy Scout Troop 168 and their scout masters gathered at Brooklyn’s Liberty Pole Hill Park, W1064 Amidon Road to beautify the property on Saturday, May 25.

The troop completed a project to lay mulch in soil beds around trees and the park’s flag pole. They also pulled weeds and gave the park a general “face lift” park curator Kathy Pennington said.

Just in time for Memorial Day, Pennington helped the Scouts conclude their project with a historical presentation about the park.
