Jason Miller, spokesperson for President Trump, said on CNN “you want look at the job growth numbers since he (Trump) came in, he’s doing fantastic.”

That’s pretty amazing since average number of new private sector jobs created per month since Trump took office is actually less than the average number of new jobs created per month during the previous seven years of the Obama administration.

174.3 Average jobs added to the economy per month from 2010 – 2016 under Barack Obama (numbers are in thousands).

172.6 Average jobs added to the economy per month February – June 2017 under Donald Trump (numbers are in thousands).
